Hospitality Interiors
A comprehensive knowledge in the hospitality industry [over ten years experience in directorship, management and service] has allowed us to focus on work place ergonomics, layouts, systems, marketing as well as staff and people relations.
Hospitality is a fickle business, with interiors needing regular upgrades or refreshes to keep customers interested.
The key lies in the design foundation. Timelessness, Form + Function allow for decorative and superficial updates to occur without a full redesign and refit required.
We pride ourselves in our ability to provide good customer service, and to pre-empt questions, issues and problems before they occur. To mange the project with good relationships between all parties [client, designer, contractor and sub trades] which in turn achieves a good quality finished product for all persons involved to be proud of.
Sailor Galley & Rum Bar. Mt Maunganui
Clean, contemporary lines paired with rich timbers, fluted wall panels, and subtle brass accents create an atmosphere of quiet sophistication. The design takes inspiration from the sleek elegance of a yacht’s interior blended with modern coastal luxury.
Hide. Thirst & Hunger. Mt Maunganui
This best kept secret is a hideaway courtyard bar and eatery off the Main Mt. drag.
Once a white concrete bunker, sandwiched between commercial buildings, this old Art deco house turned restaurant had no soul, and nowhere to sit and relax.
A complete outdoor courtyard design was a must, creating ‘rooms’ and niches for people to hide away from the main street hustle.
A huge retractable awning allows for all weather outdoor socialising, paired with an open fire and heaters, mid winter is as good as summer here.
Brew Co. Mt Maunganui
This Mt Maunganui hospitality institution was in serious need of a facelift and re design.
With only 10 days to fit out, and a very tight budget, the space was pulled apart, reconfigured and rebuilt.
Stripping the finishes back, using raw materials and industrial fittings, an industrial jungle vibe has been created to attract all ages and demographics to this iconic hotspot.
Tabac. Auckland CBD
A hospitality institution.
Once owned by music legends the Finn Brothers back in the 80’s, Tabac still boasts the coolest staff, the best cocktails and attracts the hippest of punters.
In a back alley between Albert and Queen Streets, Tabac’s refit updated and opened up the once confined and dark spaces. The front third of the space is now a covered outdoor area, and the interior update of the private back room and main bar has brought the venue back to life.
Simple, true finishes and colour palette have modernised the space while keeping the original Tabac culture and history.
